HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities
As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will travel to job locations throughout the Denver Metro area to diagnose, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Complete assigned service work at residential locations throughout the Denver area.
- Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems.
- Service furnaces, air conditioning and cooling units, heat pumps, and mini-split systems.
- Perform preventative HVAC maintenance to help equipment operate efficiently and reliably.
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and system performance issues.
- Recommend appropriate HVAC repairs and maintenance solutions.
- Work alongside experienced HVAC professionals and continue developing technical skills.
HVAC Technician Qualifications
Required:
- EPA Certification
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of residential HVAC service experience OR completion of an HVAC school or training program
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- NATE Certification
- Previous electrical troubleshooting or repair experience
- Bilingual communication skills
